Lee provides practical, tailored health and safety solutions to companies who either prefer to outsource this work or are too small to justify recruiting a health and safety advisor. He also provides flexible solutions to larger organisations to support the work of internal health and safety functions and goes on to explain;

My broad experience covers the following: Working for each construction duty holder on projects ranging from thousands to multi-million pound projects. Training accredited and non-accredited courses both in the UK and abroad, including blue chip companies. Undertaking adverse event investigation which includes liaising with enforcement officers. Writing Health and Safety Policies / Safety Management Systems to HSG65 and OHSAS 18001 standards, supporting clients through Safety Schemes In Procurement accreditations both initial applications and ongoing yearly renewals. Working with a broad range of SME Clients including construction, engineering, manufacturing, residential social landlords / housing associations, haulage, warehousing, solar and renewables to mention just a few. Facilitating and writing risk assessments and safe systems of work across numerous industry sectors. I have a firm foundation in high hazard environments and have been fortunate enough to gain experience across private and public sector organisations.

I pride myself on being dynamic, energetic and hands on with our Clients. I give well founded and up to date advice in an understandable language.  I focus on building relationships with people to support, educate and empower them to make sensible and reasonable decisions that work for their business agenda.

This focus on engagement is why our Clients are realising lasting results. The key objective for the business is to provide high client satisfaction and quality work to win repeat and referral business opportunities.  I believe that health and safety can be delivered with ‘added value’ and therefore is correlated with the demands and needs of the business.

Coming from a technical and military environment has enabled me to approach health and safety as a pro-active problem-solving and supportive practitioner.

My working life commenced in the Royal Navy where I served for ten years in the Fleet Air Arm as an Aircraft Engineering Technician. I started as a multi traded engineer covering the three disciplines of mechanical, electrical and avionics systems and was then promoted and specialised in Mechanical Systems. I served around the world and undertook an operational tour in the former Yugoslavia. My military service included periods on Commando Helicopter Force maintaining Sea king MK4 Helicopters in the support of Royal Marine units and then Joint Force Harrier on GR7/9 and T10 Harrier jets when the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force came under a single command structure.

I am happily married and have two girls in my life! My wife and daughter. My interests outside of work include travelling, carp fishing and enjoying good times with family and friends.
